They lived in northern Florida and this picture was most likely taken at their plantation home before Mary Victoria was born. Soloman Wesley owned a southern plantation with servants and was wealthy. When they joined the church, the mobs forced them out of their home and tried to burn the house. The mobs burned down their barn and poisoned their well. Solomon sold the plantation and moved to Alabama.
